No, Gyanodaya has a three-stage review process, and if a case does not meet our guideline requirements, it will be returned to the author with an explanation of why it has been rejected. The author can then address the issues we highlight and resubmit it.

Gyanodaya accepts both primary and secondary case studies. Primary cases are based on first-hand data and direct research involving real individuals or organizations, while secondary cases are developed using existing data and publicly available information. Both types must focus on authentic, real-world business or management scenarios.

No, to ensure authenticity and practical relevance, case studies submitted to Gyanodaya must focus on real individuals, organizations, and events. As a policy, fictional or disguised cases are not accepted for publication at present. Additionally, case studies should pertain to events or dilemmas that occurred within the past six years.

When submitting a case study to Gyanodaya, please include the following documents:

  • The title page with author details.
  • The case file in a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
  • A separate Microsoft Word file containing the accompanying teaching note (.doc or .docx).
  • Consent form (for primary case only).
  • Supplementary document (if any).

Case studies submitted to Gyanodaya are reviewed by a panel of faculty members from top management and business institutes. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the specific topic area to ensure a fair and thorough evaluation.
