The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) established Gyanodaya — the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation and Publishing — for the development, publication, and selling of case studies and other learning materials, and to enable faculty collaboration.

About the Workshop

Case studies help strengthen critical thinking, strategic analysis, and decision-making. This workshop recognizes the need for high-quality cases and equips scholars and academicians with the skills required to conceptualize, write, and refine strong case studies for powerful classroom learning experiences.

Pre-Workshop Requirements

Participants should arrive with a definite idea and learning objectives for a business case, identify a company and case protagonist, and preferably (not mandatory) obtain company permission to write the case.

Registration Includes

Program materials and meals: morning tea, lunch, evening tea, and dinner on 30 Jan; and breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and tea on 31 Jan.

Participation Fee

Educators/Corporate Participants: Rs. 19,500 + applicable GST per person.

Research Scholars: Rs. 14,500 + applicable GST per person.

Participants can receive structured templates, instructor-led checkpoints, editorial and pedagogical support, and guidance on classroom testing and refinement.

Cases developed in this workshop (in collaboration with one of the instructors) have direct publication opportunities with Gyanodaya. Participants work closely with instructors to align learning outcomes, strengthen narratives, integrate analytical depth, and refine classroom usability.
